Retirement planning with the rest of your life in view

Retirement is not one corpus number

A retirement view on esi.in is allowed to include EPF and NPS, taxable investments, property you might live in or sell, health costs, insurance, and people you support. My ESI organises whatever you confirm. It does not sell an annuity, does not promise a replacement ratio, and does not replace a SEBI-registered adviser or a CA. Public calculators such as the retirement corpus tool stay crawlable; My ESI uses them against your graph so you are not asked to re-type income you already confirmed.

What ESI can do with partial information

Age and income alone support only an early sketch: how many working years might remain, and how large a savings-rate question looks. Investment statements add composition. An EPF or NPS file is often the single most useful next document because it is money already earmarked for later life. Household expenses, health cover and a spouse’s work status change the same picture again. Missing facts stay labelled missing. Scenarios such as “retire at 55” never overwrite your profile.

The next useful fact

If ESI already knows age, income and investments, the one thing that usually helps most is a recent EPF or NPS statement — then monthly household expenses. You can upload or enter that by hand. You review extracts before they enter the graph, and you can remove them later. That is progressive retirement context, not a 40-field onboarding form.
